It is official. Bux.to is a scam. Bux.to is one of the most successful PTC scams out there today.

At bux.to you get paid to view ads. Here is how they claim it works:

At Bux.to, you get paid to click on ads and visit websites. The process is easy! You simply click a link and view a website for 30 seconds to earn money. You can earn even more by referring friends. You'll get paid $0.01 for each website you personally view and $0.01 for each website your referrals view.

Bux.to goes on our scam list and here are our reasons why:

1. Violation of Terms Of Service - In their terms of service they state that they pay within 30/60 business days. However there are thousands and thousands of members that have waited over a year for their payment. Currently payments have resumed but payments are in small amounts. The owner is paying new members over old. Mainly due to the cost of paying new member rather than old. Since old members are owed in the thousands.

2. Forum Fully Censored - The owner has ordered all staff to delete and to reject any and every negative comment about payments and about bux.to. A true sign of a scam is when you have a heap of complaints frommembers who claimed they have not been paid.

3. Ties with a Convicted Felon - David John Withers a known convicted felon and money laundering is one of the two owners running bux.to. A zebra never changes it's stripes and you can count on bux.to being involved in some kind of money laundering scheme.

4. Fake Ads - 99% of bux.to ads are self advertised or are affiliate links from the owner. Meaning bux.to is showing their ads to you for free. No real outside advertisers. Explains why payments are so far behind. This site relies heavily on membership upgrades and ref package upgrades in order to pay theirmembers.

5. Refs are Bots - Screenshots of bux.to's admin panel is circulating. On this panel you see the option for bots. Fake refs are being sold. When I was a member I purchased 100 refs. All of them died in the 300's click mark.

6. Complaints and then some... - Negative feedback galore. If you don't believe me, the read what other users and memebers have gone through with this site. And these are recent complaints. I am not talking about the long list of complaints from last year.

In Detail:

Their site fits what some may call a Ponzi Scheme. Where they take funds from new investors to pay old investors. Another blog called "
Bux.to Sux!" has explained bux.to's scheme to the very last detail. Bux.to can be described as a rob Peter to pay Paul company.

After careful review, we have discovered that bux.to displays false advertising and advertisers for their ads. Which plays a big part into thecompany 's problems and why payments are not being paid. They use their own affiliate links to show ads. Which means they do not have a steady source of income to pay theirmembers who view their ads. Which spells disaster for any user who invests there.

Sadly, there are thousands upon thousands of members who have not been paid according to the Terms Of Service, that was agreed upon when they first signed on. Many have gone over 1 year without being paid, and some past 14 months!

Currently bux.to has started a new campaign with Payoneer to try and grab new investors. They have even set up a new forum where you can participate in a buxcard contest. After looking over this forum you can see that everything on this forum is fabricated. Only praises and positive comments are allowed. If you try and submit anything else it will be deleted. A sure sign that they do not welcome all feedbacks.

If you go to their main
forum, expect the same kind of attitude. Staff are hideous and censor anything that points to the word scam. Unprofessional at it's greatest. Investors are furious for not being paid, however bux.to and their staff will be quick to tell you that you are the one to be blamed for making an investment. Not them. I am sure if they put that way of thinking on their front page their site wouldn't even exist.

The owner at bux.to, is a unknown. There are some who will say he is a person by the name of David John Withers. A known felon for VAT fraud from the UK. His name is seen throughout bux.to and it's dealings. Staff claim there is no such person. Only "George" is the owner. However
George is nowhere to be seen for many months now.

Bux.to's staff claim they are in contact with the owner through email and that they have little to do with the payment department. Although, there are certain members on the forum that have had their payments expedited on more than one occasion.

Bux.to pays investors as profits roll in from purchases from the yourbuxcard.com, referral packages, and premium upgrades. They pay out of sequence and only to select few. Mainly to those who will post a success story, that way bux.to can display the story on it's main page to draw in new investors.

It has been rumored that Interpol has been contacted and they are investigating this company for possible tax violations. This is a site that is in deep trouble. From both within and out.
We deem Bux..to as a scam and would not suggest this PTC to anyone.
